„100 Jahre im Licht“ - The anniversary movie

For the 100th anniversary of the adult education center, the American media artist Cindy Louise Gates created an extraordinary short film in collaboration with the internationally renowned musician Loy Wesselburg and his orchestra.

The Burgplatz in Essen, Germany, is the focus of historical events, with more than two hundred photo/film settings focusing on adult education in Essen and Germany. The film premiered in the Lichtburg film theater in Essen, Germany in Feb. 2019.
